LCD TV vs LED TV

LCD TVs are just reaching homes in India that we are beginning to get the buzz about LED Televisions. Indian consumers may just migrate to LED televisions. However, it will take a while before the prices of LED TVs come down. LCD TV prices on the other hand are going down making them an attractive buy. For example one can buy a Samsung LCD TV starting from rupees 25,000/-.

LED TVs have been greatly publicised, but still haven't really taken off over here in the UK.

I think that price is still the major barrier to purchase, despite the better specification seen in the new ranges.  Hopefully towards the end of the year, we'll start to see prices go down, and LED adopted as the new standard for TVs.
