LG KT610 Smartphone ReviewLG KT610 smartphone has the looks, the oomph factor, and a rich feature set. You could buy this phone for gaming alone. But what I found disappointing in it is the screen size. Don't know what crossed the heads of LG engineers that they decided to offer just 2.4 inch face to this big and beautiful handset body. Alright, the phone offers a secondary screen but personally I would have preferred single large one. The keyboard is the best part of the phone. Keys feel big and soft under your fingers and you don't have to worry even if you have a big thumb. The arrow keys are conveniently placed to make gaming a lot more fun. The 2 megapixel camera with 4X digital zoom supports both still photograph and video capture. The camera gives you a lot of features like self-timer, white balance, multi shots, night mode, and color tone control. While the still photograph quality is good don't expect wonders from KT610 movie camera. The Symbian phone comes loaded with a nice set of applications like RockeTalk, CocktailsMocktails, Data Wallet, E2EDictionary, and the popular GoogleMaps. The QuickOffice turns your mobile phone into a mini laptop - you can comfortably create, view and share documents, excel sheets, and power point presentations. LG KT610 scores in audio, music, and gaming features as well. It comes with MP3 Player, Real Player, Flash Player, and Music Player giving you full control over what and how you want to play. The phone also lets you do voice recording. In games, you'll be treated with BrekBrik, BugsBin, and Calculatrix. The phone has you covered in connectivity options- GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, and USB. The messaging options are also plenty. You can SMS, MMS, IM, or Email. The handset weighs about 129g which makes it one of most light smartphones. Nokia N97 borrowed the same style and its 3.5 inch screen and camera with LED flash score higher but LG KT610 is the clear winner in go-slim contest. Overall for just rupees 1500 something the LG KT610 mobile phone is an excellent buy. |
