Picture Quality Samsung 4 series A480 LCD TV uses Digital Natural Image Engine. A technology that allows Samsung to bring the details of a picture alive on your TV screen. At the price tag it carries, the quality is quite impressive. But don't expect the heaven. It won't match the Sony Bravia's colors. The resolution is only 1366 x 768. 10000:1 Contrast Ratio Higher the contrast ratio better the picture quality. Samsung A480 offers high, 10000:1, contrast ratio which produces whiter whites and blacker blacks making the pictures look crisp and vibrant. Built-in FM Radio Now, this is a plus. Samsung A480 LCD TV comes with an in-built FM radio. You can tune into news headlines or the latest Bollywood numbers. That's a small but nice to have to feature in a TV set. Surround Sound System This is another cool feature of the TV. In built 15Wx15W RMS (SRS Trusurround XT) speaker system will make you sit back and listen as it sounds good. Other Features TV is High Definition ready and supports picture-in-picture feature something all latest TVs offer but again for low price this is a plus. What I couldn't believe about this TV is its weight. The unit without stand weighs only 5.2 kg. The set size is 571.9 x 411.8 x 73.5mm. The sleep timer and auto power-off mode too are quite handy features. They make it perfect TV for bedrooms.
