Samsung fans have a lot to look forward to this holiday season. Last week, Samsung announced at least 3 new mobile phone models that are going to hit store shelves in US right in time for holidays and Samsung T939 the 2nd version of Samsung Behold is one of them.

Samsung Behold II or Samsung SGH T939 brings all the capabilities of its predecessor and much more. It's powered by Google Android, the mobile platform that's predicted to grab the 2nd spot after Symbian in course of next 4-5 years. With this mobile phone, Samsung may have finally unleashed its first generation of Android phones. It recently also launched Samsung Moment on Sprint. Other phones on their way include Samsung Flight and Samsung Mythic for AT&T customers.

Being an Android phone, Samsung Behold II gives instant access to Google mobile services that include YouTube, Google Search, GMail, and Google Maps.

Samsung Behold 2 features a 3.2 inch AMOLED screen that offers crispier display, wider angle view, and improved color quality. The phone wears a simple look with its large display and simplistic set of keys. The display of Samsung SGH T939 uses TouchWIZ user interface enabling users to customize their phone's home screens by simpy dragging and dropping the favorite widgets. The phone also offers Samsung's intuitive 3D menu that makes navigation between different applications a snap.

Samsung SGH T939 has a 5 mega-pixel camera that supports auto-focus, flash, and video recording. The camera also lets users pick from 5 supported shooting modes. The phone comes with an in-built MP3 Player and gives easy access to Amazon MP3 downloads to set you for non-stop entertainment.

The new Samsung T-Mobile phone supports wi-fi and bluetooth connectivity. It also features ActiveSync that lets you sync your personal or corporate emails with your mobile. Samsung Behold II could have done better in the memory department. It only gives you 16GB of external storage.
