Symbian mobile os may have been the most popular one but Google's android is moving fast to catch up or even dethrone symbian from top position. There are already a plenty of Android phones that have become hugely popular. I agree that Nokia-Symbian marriage gives Symbian phones an edge but this will also become a bottleneck for symbian os.
