Air Conditioners to Fight Summer in IndiaSummer is still mild in Delhi and some other northern parts of India but wait a few days to see it in its true garb. Who wouldn’t want this nice weather to continue but boy soon it’s gonna get nasty just like it was in past few years. This is actually a good time to oil your arms against the upcoming heat, and the long and frequent power cuts that accompany it. Once summer’s onslaught begins it gives you no time to think and plan. Have you tried your air conditioner out yet? If not, turn the machine on and see if it still works. We hope it does but for some reason if it doesn’t listen to your commands call in a maintenance guy and get it fixed soon. If it’s damaged beyond his comprehension probably it’s time to replace it. There are plenty of Air Conditioner brands and models to choose from. Before you buy though, make sure you know what kind of AC (Windows Air conditioner or Split AC) you need and what capacity it should have. Once you have zeroed in on the type of the AC, compare various AC brands and models on the features and specifications that you care about. Finding your cool companion for the summer is not all that difficult. There is plenty of advice in TolMol’s Air Conditioner Buying guide. Apart from getting your AC in order, you also need to make sure you have power back up system in place. Check your inverter or whatever it is that you use as a power backup. The power cuts aren’t likely in summer they are bound to occur so you better be prepared as otherwise even the smartest of the AC’s won’t be able to provide you any comfort. Summer are hot and sultry. They spoil your clothes. They get you high on the deodrants. But they also offers plenty to enjoy – ice creams, cold drinks, sweet lassi, cold cucumber, delicious shorbats, and a lot more – you don’t want to miss on it. So get your summer gears out and in order before you find yourself scrambling for those. Have a good air conditioner and power back up are the two basic things one needs to make summers pleasant.
