Many European models lack this feature while American Dishwasher manufacturer offer this feature and is generally is an expected characteristic in their Dishwashers. In the former models, the job of scraping food particles has to be done manually and in the latter ones, the job is done automatically. However, there is a limit to the size of leftovers, the dishwasher can pick and then give spotless clean dishes.
