Juicer Buying Guide
We all know having fruit is healthy. A glass of fresh juice in the morning is the least you can do to stay healthy. If you are like me almost new to buying kitchen wares then for you buying the right juicer may be a mammoth task! Generally juicers are of many kinds. Upright masticating juicers use a new technology that is, the juice is first extracted and before the pulp is ejected it is again squeezed for taking out more juice. Centrifugal juicers are the most popular ones. These juicers first grate the fruit into a pulp and then use centrifugal force to push the pulp against a strainer screen by spinning it at a very high rotation rate. (Juicer Prices in India) Single gear juicers use a single gear that literally chews the fruit fibers and breaks up the plant cells in order to produce juice and twin gear juicers are the most expensive ones in the market which work at slower rotation rates resulting in oxidation from foam and less destruction to the nutrients. Wheatgrass juicers are made for extracting the juice from wheatgrass exclusively! When going to buy any of these always keep in mind some points. Motor power, output: For best results look for 450-500 Watt motor always. The juicers which have around 200 Watts motors are not able to take out vegetable juices. Ease of use: I have seen some juicers are so technical that if I need to use them I am all scared whether I will be able to get the fruit juice or not. Anyways, whenever buying an electronics product remember to look for ease of use and cleaning. Many times we do not use the juicer because the cleaning is a mess. Warranty: Any product should have some warranty over its parts. Once broken or if some thing goes wrong consumer has to search a lot. That shouldn’t be the case with you. Generally a product has one year warranty. Always ask the customer care center address and services so that you may get your machine prepared as soon as possible. Price: It is not the case that costly models work the best. Always find a product which is under normal price range, it shouldn’t be very cheap or costly. Portability: You don’t want to buy a device which is so heavy that you will regret buying it later. These days’ juicers come in real handy sizes. They are small, portable and worth the money. Always find one that fits your budget and space perfectly. Noise Level: Some juicers are real noisy. Just imagine that pleasant holiday morning when you are sleeping and someone switches on their juicer and the noise is so loud that you cannot sleep. This shouldn’t happen with your juicer any day. Even if you are gifting a juicer to someone remember these points and I am sure the person shall thank you for it! Juicer can be a great unique gift for Diwali as well. If your friend needs one go ahead and get it for him! Author: Himadri Dimri More on Kitchen and Home Appliances |
