The former one has 5 satellites of 15W each, a 60 W woofer and a 70dB S/N Ratio of 135W RMS output. It has a VFD- Vacuum Fluorescent Diode front display panel and it is equipped to provide extended frequency response which goes up from 40 to 160 Hz for the woofer. For the satellites it can create an extended frequency response ranging from 120Hz to 20KHz. The M.R.P of this system is Rs. 16000. The Intext Sensation 51160 comes with a 60W woofer and five satellites of 20W each. It gives a blue lighting effect which is possible with the help of 160W RMS. The M.R.P of this system is 15,500. Intex has worked hard on the looks and the integrated technology while striving to provide an affordable home theater system. With the launch of these two amazing home theater systems, people can now fulfill their dream of watching their favorite movies and get a theater like experience in their living rooms with a great sound. The demand for home theater system has gone up rapidly in the recent past but at the same time consumers too have become very intelligent. They demand for products but are highly aware of the options available in the market. They look for high quality products that give them value for money. Intex too seems to have taken cue from the consumers needs and preferences and launched the above mentioned home theater systems. Home theaters have been recognized as one of the growing categories of the segment and we hope to cater to the increasing demand from value and quality conscious buyers. The venture will not only complement the sale of DVD players but will also accentuate Intex brand value as a 'complete IT solutions' provider." Thus, Intex is killing two birds with one stone. Not only they are lapping up the growing segment of Home Theater systems, but they are helping to boost the sales of their DVD Players as well. A smart move on the part of Intex which it seems has introduced home theater systems as a complementary product for their primary products. Well, a home theater to boost up the sales for DVD players, or for that matter LCD TVs, that’s amusing? The company is playing the other way round but it does not matter as the motive is to increase profits and expand the customer base and the company hopes to do it really well.
