Buying Cheap Can Be Expensive

My father always used to say that cheap could be good when you buy it but more expensive at times. An expensive product stays intact for long giving true value for money over a period of time but something cheap though gives short term satisfaction may end up costing a whole lot more due to frequent repairs and maintenance.

Have you gone to buy branded products? There is usually a significant difference in price when you compare a branded product against a similar but non-branded product. In many cases the branded product could cost as much as double of the non-branded one.

There are moments when one should look at the quality no matter what the product’s price is. When you go for short term savings, you often increase your long term costs. Of course it is better to save money and get something worth it’s for. But, sometimes just because of the price we tend to waste a lot of money and buy something which appears cheap but turns out to be expensive in the long run.

Often we get an impression that branded and superior quality products are always meant for those priviledged ones. Truth is, one doesn't have to be super wealthy to make right shopping choices. The mantra is identifying where quality matters and where it doesn't as much. For example, when you are planning to  buy a car, it's always best to buy upgrades that enhance the long term comfort and safety. Small things like powered windows make a huge difference in the use of the vehicle. Similarly side airbags go a long way in ensuring the occupants' safety on crazy roads in India. These are the kinds of products that one can defer for a month or so if required but should not compromise on the quality. (Buy Branded Products on Deal)

Ever felt the urge of buying that road side wrist watch which seems so colorful and costs almost nothing when compared to the ones you get in a showroom? I have bought one or two and within days the battery dies out or the color fades or they just stop working. Why not buy good branded Fasttrack or Reebok’s watches in money almost hundred times more than that watch? These branded ones have warranty and they shall remain with me for long without getting faded or the battery getting out.

Look at the electronics products in the market. There is a gamut of choices to make if you need a mixer-grinder or toast. But, the ones which are not ISI marked or are less in price stand no where in front Glen’s electrical home appliances. The latter ones are dependable, reliable, do not give you electric shock while usage and are value for their money. These will stay with you for some time and you will thank yourself for buying them. Computer peripherals have a habit of getting old soon, but it is never advisable to buy a second hand or cheap replacement of these. A computer costs you a huge amount of money; you cannot afford to use any cheap electronic replacement for any part. I have seen examples of people when they buy a cheap replacement of RAM and how their motherboard is burned in no time which leads them to buying a new motherboard which is comparatively expensive than a RAM.

There can be many examples of such things which will cost you more instead of less. Often we as consumers, get so busy in looking at our immediate needs and pocket that we totally lose sight on what lies ahead. Short sight never helped anyone instead look for more and look beyond after all we should invest our hard earned money in good quality things!
