Samsung S8530 Wave II mobile phone is making waves in India. Samsung S8530 Wave II runs on Samsung bada Operating System. After launching a slew of Android phones, Samsung chose to launch a device on its home grown operating system. It’s a 3G and GPRS full touch base phone that features Dolfin browser 2.0. The phone features a 5megapixel camera that offers 4X digital zoom, Flash LED, and Auto Focus features. The on phone image editing features allows you to adjust color, brightness, and grain of the images. The 3D sound alive technology makes music a treat to ears. The phone comes with FM Radio, FM Radio Recording, Music Player, and a Music Library of its own. The true entertainment device also features an HD Video Player and Recorder. You can record HD quality videos and edit them to suite your taste. Watching HD movies on the super clear screen of Samsung Wave II is also fun. The phone supports all the major video formats leaving nothing that you cannot try. The mobile also offers NTSC/PAL-B/PAL-M TV Output so you can enjoy the content on a larger TV screen. The phone even supports offline mode so you can stay productive even when not in a hotspot. The handheld comes loaded with 2GB memory with a microSD slot that can be used to bump up the external memory to 32GB. That’s decent amount of storage for leveraging a 20K something phone fully. The 59.8mm (W) x 123.9mm (L) x 11.8 mm (D) Samsung Wave 2 weighs about 135g. The 1500mAh battery gives 400 hrs of talk time and 555 hours of standby. The mobile tracker feature of the phone is also a great add-on. With all the cool features Samsung Wave II is a great phone but may have hard time challenging rival phones like RIM’s BlackBerry that are priced more attractively in India.
