Alienware M11x, Dell Launches The Latest Gaming GiantWow! That was my first reaction when Dell shook the gaming world with its fantabulous gaming laptop Alienware M11x. In fact, I believe this system is better than what my initial enthusiasm and impression might have suggested. So, before I share with you how the gaming world has been pleasantly surprised, let me first congratulate Dell and its Alienware team for showing us yet another time how one can be different, popular and affordable, successfully, As far as the gaming world is concerned there could not have been a better start to the year. There To make sure Alienware M11x can live up to the expectations Dell has taken due care by loading it with some of the best of features and the most advanced of technologies. The system runs on Intel’s dual-core consumer ultra-low voltage processor (1.3 GHz Intel SU4100 and SU7300) which gives you awesome processing power at minimum power consumption. Both the processors are nearly identical with only few differences like 1MB of cache with SU7300. Since great graphics define great gaming systems, hence Dell has included Nvidia GeForce GT 335M graphics card. The card has 1GB of exclusive GDDR3 memory and is ably supported by the Moving toward the other features of Alienware M11x, you surely won’t be disappointed at all. Take for example the battery life. Depending upon a mix of factors the battery life varies and Dell claims it can be as good as 8 hours, which in fact is quite close to what you actually get. Then the fact that it is portable and uses AlienFX LED lighting, it is good enough to be a favorite of many. What had fascinated me the most about this laptop was the fact that you get a high end gaming system at really competitive prices. The most amazing thing about the Alienware M11x is that it does come quite close to solving that problem and adds further punch to the world of gaming enthusiasts. Coming from a leading brand like Dell, that in any case gives a lot of confidence even to a rookie in the gaming world.

The Alienware M11x has only 160GB hard drive with 5400rpm, as far as the default features are concerned. For a gaming laptop that is definitely not sufficient and it would be better if you upgraded the same to a better option like 7200rpm. So you can safely say with a little bit of an upgrade, this is one system that stands tall.
