After going through the camera specs, I would say the photography is just beginning to get real. FinePix REAL 3D W1 has made a thundering arrival into yet another dimension of the digital cameras. FujiFilm uses high-precision lens alignment for quality 3D image capture. It uses two Fujinon lenses with 2 CCDs in a compact camera body. A real photo (RP) processor 3D is employed to process and merge the images captured by dual lens CCD system into a single 3D image. The best part - you don't need those special glasses to view the recorded images. The FinePix REAL 3D W1 sports a 3D LCD monitor system. You can preview the images on the camera LCD screen or playback them on the larger 3D viewer that comes with the camera. Not just that, FujiFilm also ensures you don't lose the 3D (jumping out of the image) effect during print.With FujiFilm's 3D print system you can print quality pictures on lenticular sheets that preserve the 3D parallex effect.
Packing it all in such an incredibly compact design is a great feat. I guess that's what FujiFilm is all about - real innovation. FinePix REAL 3D system stores still photographs in MP format and videos in 3D-AVI format. The camera also lets you capture 2D images. It can simultaneously store an image in 3D (MP) and 2D (JPEG) format giving you all the flexibility. Additionally, the 3D viewer system lets you convert even 3D format still photos and videos to 2D format so you can view your recording whichever way you prefer.
