First to have the brains of Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, HTC Touch2 introduces new features like Microsoft My Phone and Mobile Marketplace. The My Phone service allows you to backup and sync your phone data viz photos, contacts, messages, and music with the web. And guess what? It costs you nothing. Mobile Marketplace is Microsoft's answer to Google's Android Market. Don't expect the choice to be anywhere close to what Apple's app store offers but you can find some interesting applications to download on to your mobile phone. HTC Touch2 uses the enhanced version of HTC's TouchFLO technology that includes features like weather updates. If you are torn between an Android and Windows phone, HTC Touch2 may be the perfect choice as the phone while bringing new Microsoft mobile features also enables quick access to Google Maps and YouTube. You can leverage the popular productivity software from Microsoft – enjoy complete email solution, manage documents and presentations, and more. Even the web browsing is made simpler in this smartphone. A new zoom bar lets the text reflow to an optimum size letting you view the web pages easily. It also supports flash so you can allow YouTube entertain you. The phone will be available in Europe in Oct and will hit Asia a couple months later. Since it's targeted for a broader market, the price is expected to be well under $100.
