The G-series offers gaming notebooks, E-Series offers entertainment notebooks, X Slim series is for those who are willing to pay extra for thin notebooks. MSI offers several strong and compelling features that include the use of Intel Calpella platform to provide powerful image processing capability to notebooks.
The MSI G-series for gaming enthusiasts offers GT640 and GT740 notebooks that have Intel Calpella, flat-screen 15.4-inch and 17-inch monitors. It has Intel C i7 Quad-Core processors and comes with NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M 3D discrete graphics. The housing combines aluminum alloy construction and brushed metal texturing. The WASD keys with highlighted touch activate interface board makes it look cool. The MSI G-Series notebooks are priced starting from Rs 88,000.
The MSI EX Series is best suited for people who are going to heavily use it for entertainment. It promises to enrich your digital multimedia life. The EX Series comes with Intel Core Duo processor. The key feature of this series is the MSI’s proprietary ECO engine technology that provides LED backlighting for the LCD screen. The EX460 uses this technology. The MSI CR Series is a new series targetted at professionals. It claims to offer you stylish and friendly companion. The Classic Series notebooks are priced from Rs 38,000.
The MSI X-Slim Series is an existing series but adds four new models in this series – MSI X350, X420, X620 and X430. True to its name the X-Slim notebook is less than 1-inch at its thickest point and has Intel CULV platform, and Intel Core2 Duo processor. MSI boasts of X-Slim series notebook as light, slim and aesthetic. It also has Cinema-class high-fidelity speakers that enable a superior SRS premium sound experience. The key highlight of this series is the 3D Boost technology that offers superior 3D computing and extra-long battery life battery. The X620 weighs only 2.4Kg. The MSI X-Slim series is priced from Rs 45,000.
The MSI Wind Series may not be as light as wind but its pricing is definitely light on the budget buyers. The MSI Wind has two special edition notebooks – MSI Wind U130 and U135 and uses Intel ATOM N450 processor.
