In a recent poll conducted by Nokia, a whopping 56% respondents said that a single mobile phone was not enough for them. The reasons why people feel the need of two phones may differ but there is no denying that the desire to keep personal and professional lives separate is the most common driver. But let's put the reason aside. The question here is why Nokia conducted this poll. Is Nokia working on a new Dual SIM mobile phone? Samsung, Nokia’s competitor, recently launched Dual SIM mobile in Samsung Fizz C5212. Nokia, the largest mobile company in the world, is known for offering a mobile solution for every segment and strata. When it's facing rising competition from rivals Apple and Reasearch in Motion in the smartphones space, it better not lose any ground in the mass market. It already offers Nokia N78, a Dual Mode Phone (WCDMA 900/2100 (HSDPA), GSM/GPRS/EGPRS 850/900/1800/1900 MHz). We may soon be seeing a brand new Nokia Dual SIM Mobile - a Nokia phone that comes with two SIM cards allowing consumers to have two unique numbers assigned to a single Nokia handset and easily switch between the two.
