Nokia’s free run in Indian mobile market may have come to an end but the roaring leader of mobile handsets is still unstoppable when it comes to launching new cell phone models. The device automatically switches between WCDMA and GSM bands. Nokia N8 Battery The mobile phone uses BL-4D 1200 mAh Li-ion battery that offers GSM 720 minutes and WCDMA 350 minutes of talk time. The standby life is GSM 390 hours and WCDMA 400 hours. It allows you 6 hours of video playback time, 50 hours of music playback time, 3.2 hours of video recording time, and 160 minutes of video call time. Communication Features The email, messaging, and call management features of Nokia N8 are not extraordinary but surely an impressive set for a phone of this affordable price range. You get features such as email client with full attachment support, html email support, and unified email client. The phone also supports conversational view of the SMS’s, smart dialing, speed dialing, conference calls, handsfree speaker, and video calling. Memory Storage and Dimensions Nokia N8 has 16GB internal memory and supports 32GB microSD memory card. The 113.5x59x12.9mm handset weighs about 135g. Bottom Line Overall, it’s an excellent mobile phone for the price tag but Nokia needs to do more than just pump up the mega pixels to fight against Androidmania. Nokia N8 can be pre-odered on Nokia's website. Nokia will start shipping N8 by the end of September. As Diwali festival nears, we can expect Nokia to release some more exciting mobile phones.
