Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FP8 LaunchedPanasonic launched a new digital camera Lumix DMC-FP8 that oozes style and starts up in a snap. You no longer have to miss those fleeting shots. The FP8 camera launched as part of new Panasonic FP series sports a catchy design and brings noticeable performance improvements.
The highlight of the camera is its speed. It takes less than a second to start up and offers a fast Auto Focus ensuring that you never miss an important shot. Often you want to capture something interesting but you lose the shot just because the camera took too long to respond to your call. Panasonic designed LUMIX DMC FP8 to address that complain. It puts the speed in your hands! The 12.1 megapixels camera boasts about a high-quality 28mm wide-angle and 4.6x Leica DC lens. The camera also uses improved image stabilization technology dubbed as POWER Optical Image Stabilization. The POWER OIS is better equiped to counter the effect of camera shakes compared to its predecessor MEGA OIS. FP8 supports an interesting Face Recognition technology that can detect upto three people simultaneously. The 2.7 inch LCD screen is large enough to give clear preview of the photographs. The camera also uses an energy efficient image processing technology making the battery last longer. You can also record quality (1280x720p, 30fps) HD videos with FP8. Its HD output allows you to watch the videos on a larger TV screen. An array of scene modes - 27 all put together - give you the power to get creative with the camera. The Panasonic LUMIX DMC FP8 will be available in red, black, and silver colors. In US the camera will be retailed at a price of $299.95.
