Panasonic is once again all set to take the lead in consumer goods market, this time with the launch of world’s very first consumer 3D camcorder. It’s already among the leaders in the camcorder segment and as always it seems to be the first one to feel the pulse of the users at the right moment. In fact Panasonic SDT750 not only has the 3D camcorder edge, but it is also loaded with lots of other cool features. Only sad part as of now is, there is still some time before you can lay your hands on the camcorder.
The way Panasonic has earned the edge is through a special 3D conversion lens. It has converted a usual 2D HD camcorder into one that can record 3D videos if the special conversion lens is attached. Otherwise Panasonic SDT750 operates like a typical Panasonic high-definition camcorder. And by also adding different and innovative capabilities like 5.1-channel audio system, video editing and time lapse recording, Panasonic has got itself another great winner.
As for the 3D camcorder part of Panasonic SDT750, well the 3D conversion lens basically uses two lenses to simultaneously record for the left as well as the right eye. Both the sides are recorded at 1080x960 pixels to ensure great 3D recording. The end result is even better when the Focus Microphone feature also plays its own part in ensuring perfect audio for best 3D effect. Its in-built 5.1-channel audio system with its 5 microphones records the sound in a multi-directional mode to enable dynamic and lifelike audio output.
What makes Panasonic SDT750 even more interesting is the fact that the moment you remove the 3D conversion lens, it becomes a 2D camcorder. So you can record high definition 1080p videos in AVHD. With its Leica Dicomar lens and equally impressive 12x optical zoom you can be sure of getting better results than you would get from any other model.
Time lapse recording is the other cool feature of Panasonic SDT750. What it does is that it plays a scene recorded over a longer period of time in an accelerated manner. Simply put, you can make your own wildlife and other documentaries you are so used to watching on the TV. The video editor and Smart Wizard features also make the camcorder a great gadget to own.
With Panasonic SDT750 you also get a 3 inch LCD with auto power that adjusts the brightness. Also, its Eco Mode saves energy by turning off power when not in use. All of these features in addition to the very fact that this is going to be world’s first consumer 3D camcorder makes it a sure shot success.
