RIM (Research in Motion) announced the launch of its BlackBerry Curve 8530 mobile phone in India. This mobile phone will be available to Indian consumers through the Tata Indicom CDMA services. The phone is priced competitively at MSRP of Rs. 18,990 in the fast growing smartphone market of India. The phone comes with many cool multimedia and communication features including email, messaging and social networking.

The BlackBerry Curve 8530 phone has a full-QWERTY keyboard and comes with a bright 320x240 pixel screen that displays over 65,000 colors, and promises to deliver a great viewing experience. The BlackBerry users can access email, messaging (BlackBerry Messenger as well as IM and SMS) and popular social networking sites including Facebook. It has a rich email support that includes most popular email accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo!, Windows Live Hotmail, and AOL. The phone memory can be extended up to 32 GB.

The Curve 8530 is user friendly for on-the-go mobile users as it has voice-activated dialing and Bluetooth, with a support for hands-free headsets, car kits, stereo headsets and other Bluetooth peripherals. Overall, a great buy for those customers who are looking for a bargain to buy a smartphone.
