Samsung Omnia Pro B7610, B7320 Mobile Phones LaunchedThe ongoing CommunicAsia 2009 event in Singapore is experiencing a flurry of new mobile phone launches from all the biggies. Samsung, along with Nokia, is leading the flock. The electronics major launched two new Omnia Pro series mobile phones on top of Galaxy I7500 and Pixen 12, the previously announced Google Android based phones. These new additions strengthen Samsung's mobile phone portfolio. The new members in the Omnia Pro series include Samsung B7610 and Samsung B7320 mobile phones. A large screen continues to be the high scoring point of Samsung Omnia. The major part of the Omnia phone is taken by its 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen display. The phone comes with a slide-out full qwerty keyboard and an on-screen full touch keypad. Samsung Omnia B7610 is a Windows Mobile 6.1 based handset that has 5.1 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 1 GB internal memory, FM Radio among the most enticing features. The looks of the phone isn't much different than earlier Omnia phones. The 5.1 megapixel camera in Omnia supports video recording, automatic panorama shots, and advanced face and smile detection technology. The phone uses samsung TouchWiz user interface that supports features like drag and drop, full on-screen touch keypad. Being based on Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, the phone offers a familiar feel of a laptop computer. It's preloaded with MS Office suite for supporting email and document editing and viewing. The large screen, support for both landscape and portrait views, and zoom in and out features of Samsung Omnia make web browsing an engaging experience. I wish Samsung had also thought about web-page preloading like HTC or some other method to speed up the web-browsing. Samsung Omnia phones also support GPS and Geo Tagging features and offers full range of multimedia features - MP3 Player, Video Playback, TV Output, and FM Radio. Samsung Omnia B7610 Specifications
