Samsung Selling more Phones than Apple
If we look at the smartphone market then we see a continuous tussle between Samsung and Apple. There was a time when Nokia was ruling the market all over the world. But, with the rise of Android OS in the market, Nokia started to lose its ground. It has been some time since the Android phones have overtook the iPhones in the market. (Buy Mobiles, Mobile Phone Prices in India) The report by IDC states that Samsung took the top spot as the smartphone market grew 42.6 percent in the third quarter, totally overtaking Apple products. According to the International Data Corporation, the vendors shipped 118.1 million units in third quarter of 2011 compared to 82.8 million units in the third quarter of 2010. If you look at the mobile phones people love to carry these days, then out of every 5 phones three are that of Samsung’s, one is HTC, and rest of the two may be BlackBerry or some low cost smartphone. The market had always people who loved to flaunt nice touch screens but now the number of people carrying such phones has increased leaps and bounds. Before Samsung, it was HTC who produced the maximum number of smartphones in the market. Apple being great with innovation has had regular demands for its iPhones over the years. Still, there are people who wouldn’t settle at anything lesser than iPhone. Samsung has sold 20 million units till the third quarter of 2011. With the launch of Samsung Galaxy S II and several other touch screen, great feature set mobile phones the customer has to look no where else. When people go to buy a product they look for the appearance, function set and of course the brand. With Samsung all these points are covered now! The products and their rating keeps on changing, what doesn’t change is the originality and demand. People would always need mobile phones and the company that makes the latest version available in a cost effective way will lead the other. The reason Apple keeps loosing its sale report is the price range if offers for. Not that the products are not good or features are weak, but the price and availability is kind of too high for normal people like us.
