Samsung has announced that it is soon going to launch two Samsung Android based phones in India – Samsung i900 Galaxy and Samsung S8500 Wave. To be launched sometime in June, the two phones are priced very attractively with both under Rs. 30,000. Even though the exact prices are not yet confirmed, it is estimated that Galaxy will come at Rs 28,000/- and Wave at Rs. 25,000/-.
The phones will have Android 2.1 version powered by a 1 GHz processor. It has a 5 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus, a QWERTY keypad. It also offers Thinkfree, a software for managing Microsoft 2007 documents.
Another highlight of these two Samsung phones is the use of the mobile Natural Imagine engine (mDNIe) which enhances the image quality on the phone screen. The phone also supports the access to various social networking websites, a must for Facebook fans.
Both the phones come with Accelerometer, proximity sensor, and TouchWiz UI 3.0. These two Samsung phones are promising to provide two great options in the smart phone category. The smart mobile phone lovers no doubt are eagerly waiting to see these two handsets. According to sources, Samsung is launching these two phones simultaneously over 100 countries.
