Samsung has done it again. The recent launch of the two new Samsung Corby series mobile phones (Samsung Corby Plus B3410 and Samsung Corby Pro B5310) has created buzz in the market. After the successful launch of Corby S3650 which was well received in the India market, the Samsung's two new Corby mobile phones are trendy and loaded with all popular applications like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter. Samsung has apparently made colour as the central theme of the Corby mobile series by offering colour options in the mobile. The handset comes with wide range of colours with yellow, white, orange and pink back covers. It's changeable and colourful 'Fashion Jacket' allows you to 'dress' your mobile phone everyday as you change your clothes. Samsung likes you to match it up with your mood of the day. We wonder what do they recommend when we are not in our best of the moods! While designing these colourful jackets, the Samsung designers have ensured that the phone remains user-friendly. Samsung wants you to have a grip on style and the phone, both at the same time. Samsung Corby has also put big emphasis on the social features.
The Corby supports seven social sites that include Facebook, YouTube, Myspace, Flickr, Picasa, Friendster and Photobucket. The latest series phones, Samsung Corby B3410 and Pro B5310, will now get Twitter as well. The idea it seems is to provide us with an access to all these applications to keep in touch with friends while you are having fun somewhere out there!
The phones are equipped with Smart Unlock that enables you to unlock your phone and access the menu with ease. It aims to enhance the security feature of the phone. The Smart Unlock can be used in three ways - you can simply unlock it, or unlock and speed dial, or unlock and run an application. Samsung Corby's TouchWiz interface that can be used with a vibration feedback (you touch the phone screen and the screen will touch you back!). The mobile also comes with built-in dictionary that can be of great use when writing something important. It supports total eight languages including English and, French, German and Russian. It has 3.2MP camera that can be handy in case you forget your regular camera while on a trip. Since it has 50MB of memory that can expanded upto 8GB using a microSD card and therefore gives you flexibility to take as many pictures or store your favorite songs as you like. With GPS and WiFi features, the new Samsung Corby definitely has all the latest features that anyone will demand from mobile phone in this price range.
