Co-Founder & President

Skilled in simplifying complexity, Ramna grew up in a lovely village of Himachal Pradesh (Himalayas), India. She did her BTech in computer science and engineering from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur where she won Gold Medal in academics. Why stress muscles to win in Olympics?

Prior to co-founding TolMol (Avake), Ramna was a founding member of Ignite Logic which was later acquired by Google. She brings strong software engineering and management experience in the high technology companies like ITI, Motorola and Oracle.

She is responsible for strategic planning and product & engineering management. When she is not working, which is rare, she can be found writing, watching Hindi movies, or pursuing some other creative interests.

Co-Founder & CEO

Anuj grew up in New Delhi, the capital of India but his heart lies in the serenity and massiveness of Himalayas. Anuj started his profession hunt at the early age of 11 when he was weighing joining the Indian cricket team and later launching a dairy product venture. Eventually, he completed his BS in electrical engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and gained MIS from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Anuj brings strong industry experience in executive and engineering positions at various companies in power, e-commerce, and travel space. After a brief stint at SABRE, a division of American Airlines in Texas, he moved to California to explore the dot com opportunities back in late 90s. Anuj also had another reason to be in California, he met his wife there!

Anuj is responsible for operations, marketing, business development and public affairs. Anuj enjoys reading books on different subjects, cooking good food for his wife, and meeting people from different fields.

CTO

Have you met someone very tall, down to earth, fun-loving, techie yet composed? It must have been Jay. After BTech Jay went on to explore Bangalore and to secure his MS from Indian Institute of Science(IISc), Bangalore.

Jay brings over 16 years of IT industry experience in software architecture, leading development teams, and technology strategizing for multi-tier applications while working with many startups in Silicon Valley, and with giants like IBM and TCS. And he can still crunch code with lightening speed.

Jay is responsible for devising and implementing Avake’s technology strategy, developing technical operational infrastructure and for leading the product research and development activities.

When Jay is not at work, he can be seen watching or playing football games. Skating is another thing that he loves doing – sprains hurt but they aren’t incurable.

Engineering Lead

A born programmer, Pranav has been playing with computers since his 6th grade. It shows up when you see Pranav working – computer seems to be so much at ease with him. But not just technology, Pranav can handle anything, anyone, anytime. He’s the kind of guy who one can only like.

Pranav grew up in Delhi. To take a break from the big, and getting bigger, city, he escaped to Hardwar(U.A.) to do his B.E. Computer Science & Engineering from Gurukul University. Avake brought him back to his home. Pranav is loaded with adventurous programs. He loves racing his bike and newly acquired car. If the traffic police go on vacation for a day he would race on the Jaipur highway blindfolded. And if his mom permits he would party on Everest along with his buddies.

With terrific leadership and technical skills, Pranav is Mr. Dependable. Pranav is the guy who has his hands in all the Avake projects. He primarily leads TolMol team.

Engineering Lead

Is anything impossible? Nah! Just pass it to Suvrat to watch how coolly it transcends possible. Outwardly shy, Suvrat can have you burst into laughter with his popular one-liners.

Suvrat comes from the beautiful place called Jammu but grew up mostly in Hamirpur. He did his BTech in Computer Science & Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur. Don’t go by his lean structure, in sports he’s another champion to watch out for. Also his team has made a New Year resolution for him i.e. to have him gain some weight.

Suvrat loves blasting technical challenges. Nothing is new to him, he can handle everything like a pro. While working, or sleeping late in the mornings, the hour indicator of the clock doesn’t mean much to Suvrat. He is happiest when he fixes some seemingly unfixable problem.
